Virginia Tech’s stellar day continued as Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, Va.) quarterback Lafonte Thourogood gave a non-binding oral commitment to the Hokies, according to his mother.
Thorougood’s decision is not unexpected, and comes on the same day DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) kicker Michael Branthover gave the Hokies a non-binding oral commitment.
For months, Thourogood listed Virginia Tech as his favorite, and he was in Blacksburg, Va., for today’s game against Virginia.
