Virginia Tech secured its third commitment for the 2012 class when quarterback T.J. Millweard gave the staff a non-binding oral commitment.

Virginia Tech filled its quarteback slot early in the 2012 class when All Saints Episcopal High (Fort Worth, Texas) signal caller T.J. Millweard gave a non-binding oral commitment to Hokies coach Frank Beamer.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Millweard made the decision after taking an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech's campus last week.

Millweard is the third member of the 2012 class. He was at All Saints Episcopal last season after spending the 2009 season at Nolan Catholic(Fort Worth.

Millweard threw for 1,617 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.
