Frye Selects Hokies

Virginia Tech picked up its third commitment in three days when Thomas Dale High (Chester, Va.) made a non-binding oral commitment.

Virginia Tech's string of commitments continued Monday afternoon when it added a 6-foot-2, 175-pound receiver to its 2012 recruiting class.

That is when Thomas Dale High (Chester, Va.) athlete Desmond Frye gave the Hokies a non-binding oral commitment.

Frye plays receiver and defensive back at Thomas Dale, but is heading to Virginia Tech to play reciever.

He had 26 catches for 510 yards and six touchdowns. He also had 56 tackles and four interceptions. Recommended Stories
