Did teammate Eddie Royal make it down for the Tech game as well? "Eddie came down too," he said. Meanwhile, Glennon and Royal also saw and talked to several other recruits at the game including D.J. Parker, Ed Wang, Victor Harris, fellow Hokie QB recruit Cory Holt, and some of the Hargrave kids.
"We were just trying to meet some of them," he said. We'd throw in some lines about Tech, but really we were just having a good time. It's not every day you get to meet so many good players."
Glennon wasn't putting too much pressure on other recruits at the game to commit, but is he telling Eddie to go to Tech? "Of course," he said with a chuckle. "All the time. He's not going to commit before all his visits, but if last night didn't score points with him, I don't know what will. He really liked it there."
Meanwhile, Glennon and Royal are also liking their results on the football field this season at Westfield. "We're doing real well this year," Glennon said. "We're 9-0 this year and won our district this last week. If we keep it up, we'll be the #1 seed in the region."
"I think I've been playing pretty well. We haven't thrown as much as last year because we've been blowing out teams this year. But overall I'm doing well and trying to work on reading defenses."
To date, Glennon has thrown for around 1250 yards and 18-touchdowns. Most impressively, however, he has thrown just one interception on the year. Meanwhile, teammate Eddie Royal has caught around 600 yards worth of catches for seven touchdown receptions and four kickoff and punt returns for touchdowns.
