Williams Enjoying Spring Practice

Jim Bob Williams

Florida offensive lineman Jim Bob Williams visited Virginia Tech for Tech's spring game in late-April and was impressed by his visits. Since, the Trinity Christian Academy prospect has had an impressive spring and added some new offers.

A few days before Tech's spring game, Jim Bob Williams received his first official offer, a scholarship offer from the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Since, Williams has picked up a couple more offers.

"Colorado told me I have an offer on the table," Williams said. "Charleston Southern has offered."

Along with his offers, a host of prospects are sending mail and keeping in touch with Williams. "Virginia Tech is still sending stuff, Florida has sent a lot of stuff, Ohio, Cincinnati, a lot of different schools."

Schools have also been by his spring practices including Florida, Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Georgia Southern, South Florida, Vanderbilt, Alabama, James Madison, Maryland and more.

How has the spring been for Williams? "It's been fun," Williams said. "I've really enjoyed it. They've moved me to guard and I'm having a good time, really enjoying it and doing well."

Spring practices will end for Williams and Trinity Christian after Friday night's spring game. Williams will then workout throughout the summer.

He is unsure at this point which camps he will attend.
