Cuffee Attends Tech Camp

It's hard to hide big linemen, but Deep Creek (Va.) offensive lineman Billy Cuffee is a massive prospect who is just starting to pick up heavy interest from several schools around the region. A 6'4, 332-pound lineman, Cuffee recently camped at Virginia Tech.

"It went very good for me and actually it was a good day overall," Billy Cuffee said. Everything about it was good. I liked the way everything looked there and liked the view on the drive up."

A large yet well put together prospect, Cuffee moves well for a prospect his size but, due to the fact that he sat out his junior campaign due to a hip injury, he does not have junior film to show colleges. Still, a host of schools continue to show him interest and will be ardently watching his senior season.

"UNC, Virginia Tech, Maryland, N.C. State, East Carolina, just a few schools like that," Cuffee said in regards to the schools that are eyeing him. "Everybody leads."

With his senior season coming up, Cuffee notes that Virginia Tech's camp was his last camp and he will now focus on working out with his team. "This is the third week of our workouts," Cuffee mentioned. "We're looking pretty good."

Cuffee, who says that he is working on his all around game, has worked hard in the weight room recently as well and has improved his squat as well as his bench maxes. Cuffee currently squats 560 pounds and benches 365-370.
