The 6-2, 165-pounder told VTInsider.com that he is hearing from Georgetown, Maryland, Virginia and Clemson the most. All four of those programs are currently scheduled to watch Clark workout this fall.
While Virginia Tech has not scheduled a date to watch Jason Clark workout, they are on his list, even if in a trailing capacity.
“I went down there last fall on an unofficial visit,” Clark said, speaking of a trip to Blacksburg to visit the Hokie campus. “They are not really high on my list right now, but they are on my list.
“I just need to learn more about them because I don’t know much about them.”
Virginia Tech nevertheless knows a little something about Clark and he claims that the Hokies have offered him a scholarship, along with the Terrapins, Hoyas, Villanova, Clemson and Virginia.
“I don’t have any favorite school right now or a favorite conference. I am looking at everyone right now,” said Clark. “I have been to Maryland already (unofficially) and I am going to Virginia on Saturday.
“They are the only two that I have scheduled unofficial visits to at this time.”
When it comes time to pop the cork on a decision, Clark will look for a solid relationship, among other things.
“One of the factors that I will look at is probably the players that each program has coming in and the coaches at each school,” mused Clark. “I want a school where I have a good relationship with the coaches.
“I want a school that is not too far away so my family can see me play.”
