Jeremy Reynolds Shines in Charlotte

Jeremy Reynolds

Jeremy Reynolds impressed at the Scout.com Combine in Charlotte on Sunday. He worked out well at both wide receiver and safety, and did not shy away from stepping up against the best athletes at the combine in one-on-one drills. Reynolds also got called out by coaches towards the end of one-on-one drills to cover Offensive MVP Tehyvn Brantley.

Jeremy Reynolds (Dudley NC) put in work in Charlotte on Sunday. The kid did not back down from anyone, running crisp routes as a wideout and showing excellent press coverage skills as a defensive back. Reynolds projects as a safety on the next level, but shined in bump and run coverage during one-on-one drills. His forty-time was not off the charts, but he still managed to run in the 4.7 second range on a very slow surface. Reynolds plays bigger than his listed 5-foot-9, 163-pound frame would suggest, going up and getting after the ball at its highest point. He did a great job of getting his hands on the receiver and challenged himself two or three times, battling Combine Offensive MVP Tehvyn Brantley in one-on-ones.

Reynolds visited Virginia Tech for their Spring Game on Saturday before the combine. Check out his interview below.
