Cornerback Makes the Call

Virginia Tech got a great start to the weekend when Aromire Adeboye, a cornerback from Woodson High (Washington, D.C.) gave a non-binding oral commitment to play for coach Frank Beamer. He is the fourth member of Virginia Tech's 2011 recruiting class.

Virginia Tech picked up its fourth commitment for the 2011 class when Woodson High (Washington, D.C.) cornerback Adeboye Aromire gave a non-binding oral commitment to Hokies coach Frank Beamer.

Aromire confirmed the commitment through a text message with VTInsider.com.

"Yes, I did," Aromire wrote about committing to the Hokies.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Aromire is the 80th-ranked cornerback in the nation by Scout.com. He also held offers from Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina and West Virginia.
