Here is a look at some tidbits dealing with Virginia Tech football recruiting. We have brief updates from Isaiah Gardner, Phillip Brown, Chris Ellis, Vince Hall, and C.J. Gaddis. * Virginia Beach's Isaiah Gardner, the #6 running back in the nation according to TheInsiders, left today to attend football camp at Maryland. He will return home to Virginia Beach on Saturday. * As we reported in his story today, Phillip Brown favors three schools, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, and Virginia. In talking with him, Brown sounds very enthusiastic about the Tech program. He will take his time in the recruiting process, however. * Virginia natives Chris Ellis and Vince Hall will both return from football camps today. Hall is rated the 12th best linebacker in the nation by TheInsiders and is given four stars. Elis, the 22nd best defensive end nationally, is also given four stars. * QB C.J. Gaddis from Hoke County High (NC) has named Clemson as his leader according to an Inside Carolina interview. North Carolina may be a close second in his recruitment.
