Virginia Tech was one of the early verbal offers St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta) cornerback Geno Smith received, and the class of 2012 prospect said he has strong interest in the Hokies. In fact, Smith said he will take an unofficial visit to Blacksburg, Va., in the near future.
